She holds a bachelor's degree in Health Science and Psychology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and a Master's in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami. Further cementing her authority in the field, Ivelisse is a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM).
