Palmetto Golf Course, a Par-70 Championship course in Miami, spans 121 acres and runs parallel to US-1, south of SW 152nd Street. The 18-hole course, designed by Dick Wilson and constructed in 1959 by developers Porter, Russell, and Wagor, was acquired by Miami-Dade County in 1967. The course features a serpentine canal system weaving through tree-lined fairways, making it both visually appealing and challenging. The facility offers a 22-position, lighted driving range, a lighted putting green, a spacious clubhouse, and a fully-stocked golf shop. Equipment rentals are available, and Crandon Golf Academy provides golf lessons, clinics, and junior golf camps to cater to players of all skill levels.
