The 18-hole course, designed by Dick Wilson and constructed in 1959 by developers Porter, Russell, and Wagor, was acquired by Miami-Dade County in 1967. The course features a serpentine canal system weaving through tree-lined fairways, making it both visually appealing and challenging. The facility offers a 22-position, lighted driving range, a lighted putting green, a spacious clubhouse, and a fully-stocked golf shop.
